I have served as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois, since 2013 and have been teaching as adjunct faculty for Bob Jones University since 2017. I also serve as a chaplain for the Rockford Police Department. Previously, I served as a pastoral assistant at First Baptist Church in Troy, Michigan, from 2006 to 2013. My wife is Holly, and we have four children.
I graduated with a B. A. in Bible from Bob Jones University, an M. Div. from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph. D. in Applied Theology (Christian Leadership) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am presently writing my thesis to finish a Th. M. at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and will graduate, Lord willing, in May of 2021.
The most notable biographical detail about me is that I am a sinner saved by grace. To God be all the glory.
